She is recognized for her passion for real estate, her attention to detail, and her sharp negotiation skills. Carmen began her real estate career in 2005 after a 20-year career as a civil engineer. She achieved early success even during the harshest market conditions in decades. She developed a specialty in selling high-priced homes during tough market conditions. That experience coupled with her prior career as a civil engineer makes her one of the most knowledgeable and versatile agents in the region. 

Carmen’s repeat clients and network of referrals consistently cite her hard work and approachable style as some of their favorite attributes. But mostly they appreciate that Carmen pledges to make the home selling and buying experience a gratifying and enjoyable one. Whether Carmen’s clients are purchasing their first home, downsizing or upgrading, or moving in or out of the state, Carmen is passionate about helping them improve their style of living. The DC metro area has been Carmen’s home for over 30 years. She currently lives in Bethesda and enjoys traveling with her family to the beach and to different parts of the world. She has a Master’s degree in Civil Engineering from Rice University.
